About Iowa WQA

The Iowa Water Quality Association is a statewide trade association representing the household, commercial, and industrial water quality improvement industry. Established in 1966, the Iowa WQA represents companies that manufacture and/or sell point-of-use/point-of-entry (POU/POE) equipment such as water filters, customized water treatment systems (including softeners, reverse osmosis systems or iron removal systems), and related products such as water softener salt.

Consumer Assistance

The Iowa WQA assists consumers by providing information and answers about water treatment systems, both for home or business. Today, there are a variety of options available to obtain quality water. Making a decision to buy or rent a water treatment system can be difficult, and the Iowa WQA can help you understand how systems work and which is best for your home or business.

Looking for a water treatment system or answers about your current system?

If you need to soften your water, have excess iron in your water, or if your water is cloudy or has an odor, the Iowa WQA can provide information on a system that will work best for you.
