What Does the IOWA Water Quality Association do for You?

1. Improves your image with the public, the news media and government.
2. Helps regulators decrease the effectiveness of those water-conditioning people who are unethical. This removes or reduces this competition and reduces the damage these people do to your reputation.
3. Monitors governmental activities that affect the point-of-use water treament industry.
4. Coordinates meetings and conventions where you can get to know colleagues. This, alone, has improved the ethical standards of many members.
5. When necessary, participated in legal action to let you operate without being licenses plumbers.
6. Resisted the attempt by some county sanitations to ban water softener effluent from individual septic systems.
